*SAMAN*

“Saman” is dedicated to retired Thai Navy Seal, Saman Kunan, who risked his life to rescue the 12 boys and coach of the Thai boys’ soccer team, The Wild Boar Soccer Club, who became trapped in the Tham Luang Nang Non cave complex after a day of exploring. Saman Kunan, a retired Navy Seal, felt compelled to assist in this rescue mission, although he was no longer on active duty. Sadly, Kunan perished in his efforts to rescue the team due to lack of oxygen within the cave complex.

Our rep scheme today represents:

3.2km inside the cave that the team was located (8 Rounds X 400m= 3.2km)

13 = 12 Soccer Players and 1 Coach

17 = Number of days the team was trapped in the Tham Luang Nang Non cave complex
